About Trailmade Trading Company
My name is Kristi and I am an artist, musician, and mostly feral adventurer. The art that I create is a fusion of stained glass, vintage treasures, and trail finds collected as I ramble around. Each piece is inspired by my love for color, nature, music, and mathematics. My shop is a small glimpse into my world of adventure. Please follow me on social media for videos not only about stained glass art, but about foraging, music, and many of my other interests and adventures.
My Process
Most of my art is created by trial and error and watching youtube videos. I'm trying to vlog more about my technique, so I started my own youtube channel where I talk about what I've been learning. I also try to link the products that I'm using in the youtube descriptions.
FAQs
I'm sure your biggest question is "Are they heavy?" The answer to that is "usually not"! I do include the weight in all of the listings and the majority of them are very lightweight, weighing in right around 4 grams.

Caring for Your Trailmade Artwork
Each piece that I make is limited edition because the glass is obtained from upcycling a finite object. If you break your artwork, I often cannot replace it with the exact same glass. I use the Tiffany method for stained glass, which is a process that is not indestructible. I guarantee my soldering and hardware for the life of the piece, but I do not guarantee against foil lift, which would result from attaching other items to your artwork or wearing them to exercise or bath/swim in water. If you need an item repaired, please email me pictures and I will reply with cost and a repair plan.
